HANSEN Garments is high quality everyday clothes.

Based in Copenhagen, founders Aase and Per are inspired by their past as global travellers, grounded in Nordic design traditions, and driven by an ambition to make effortless and timeless garments.
The result is casual and straight forward garments and collections that aren’t tied down by seasons or trends.

CRAFTMANSHIP

All HANSEN Garments are produced in Europe and all fabrics and trimmings are hand picked.

We carefully seek out craftsmanship rooted in aesthetic values filled with earnestness. Historic traditions are paired with contemporary techniques, infused with soulfulness and a drop of rational nostalgia.

Current collection - PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE

Workwear in its many forms has always been central to HANSEN - from farm hands and railway workers to fishermen and even bookeepers, the way we dress as we do our everyday business brings together functionality, durability, comfort and, in many cases, a truly authentic style. For AW24, HANSEN explores the many facets of utility clothing but twists it into something contemporary by reworking the silhouette and using modern interpretations of traditional fabrics.

Shapes are loose and easy to wear with long lengths mixed with shorter and wider to create unexpected proportions. In a push to stay true to season, traditional fabrics - flannel, corduroy, tweed - are made lighter and softer by using cotton instead of wool. The palette mixes urban greys, washed blacks and chalk whites with more natural tones of olive, raisin and sage whilst highlights include a rich magenta and a floral jacquard in forest tones.
